I am deeply honored to announce that my painting “Adagio” has been accepted into the prestigious American Watercolor Society's 159th Annual International Exhibition at the historic Salmagundi Club on Fifth Avenue, New York.

“Adagio” was highlighted by the AWS as one of the featured works representing this year’s international showcase.

 

Returning to New York for this exhibition feels like a very special milestone. After my years of study as a flutist at The Juilliard School, it truly feels as though the circle is closing. I find myself returning to the city where I once studied the phrasing of music, but this time, I am bringing with me the soft Nordic light captured in my watercolor. In 'Adagio,' I have tried to explore the quiet, soulful stillness that I feel connects both of these worlds.

159:e Årliga Internationella Utställning | New York

​

Det är en stor ära att få meddela att min målning ”Adagio” har antagits till det prestigefyllda American Watercolor Society och deras 159:e årliga internationella utställning på historiska Salmagundi Club på Fifth Avenue i New York.

”Adagio” har lyfts fram av AWS som ett av de verk som representerar årets internationella samling.

 

Att återvända till New York för denna utställning är en betydelsefull milstolpe. Efter mina tidigare studier som flöjtist vid The Juilliard School känns det som att cirkeln nu sluts – från musikens värld med dess frasering till att nu fånga det nordiska ljuset i min akvarell.

I ”Adagio” utforskar jag det själsliga lugn som förenar dessa två världar.
